I fixed my issiue, Is it possible to change races? and or customize a character?

Yeah, check the readme file. It points out the XML files you need to edit to change race or start the character creator.

is there anyway to save bindings? everytime i log in i have to re do binds. i want to save them to a doc. for if DF1 comes back

i had this issue, i found if you play for longer than 20 min and every one minute do /data_persist_save it will eventually kick in

Do you know what file the bindings save to? I want to be able to keep them so "if" DF1 releases i can just copy bindings easy
also i switched to dwarf and he only slides doesn't walk or run

/gui_persist_save
/data_persist_save
were the only two commands i knew of that would save your stuff, but i think it also relates to your character somehow and i'm not sure if theres an easy way to transfer the binds

I'm in game, got skills added, the /gui_persist_save cmd appears to work however the /data_persist_save cmd is coming up Gen. (error) unkn cmd. Also why can't I jump... it's as if I'm jumping into something above me, just smacks me back down lol.
Thoughts?

you need to hold your space button down a touch longer...have the same problem, it seems like theres some sort of delay or something.

Sometimes I can get a what seems like a full jump if memory serves lol, others times the character will not even leave the ground. He just more like a jolt in place.

probably a collision issue, like the invisible walls when mounted
