Of course is it free to play. ... But keep in mind 1) It is a standalone version. This means there is no multiplayer as of now. 2) Make sure to read the "README - INSTILLATION GUIDE.txt", especially do the /skill_add_all 100 command twice. Otherwise: Have fun!

I get an error when i try to launch that says "c:/dfstandalone/runstandalone_1048debug.bat is not a valid win32 application" Hm thats weird. It shouldn't make any problems at all, since the RunStandalone_1048debug.bat is just a simple batch script. If the problem persists, can you please open Windows Explorer, then go to C:/DFStandalone/ and then right-click the file RunStandalone_1048debug.bat, select "Edit" and paste its contents here? In your case it should look like this: @echo off set SFBASE=C:\DFStandalone C:\DFStandalone\jre\bin\java.exe -verbose -Xmx160m -Xms160m -Djava.library.path=%SFBASE%\Build\All\bin -cp %SFBASE%\Build\All\test1048.jar spenefett.SFMainStandalone when I select Edit, a blank notepad comes up. Edit: I pasted what should be in the Edit and tried to run it. A window pops up and disappears quickly.

(like "C:\DFStandalone").

when I select Edit, a blank notepad comes up. Edit: I pasted what should be in the Edit and tried to run it. A window pops up and disappears quickly. The launcher .bat file should never be empty. Even if something went wrong during the installation. There should at least be the default launch configuration in it. Maybe something went wrong during download. Like a .rar file was corrupted. Did you cancel the download once? Or lost internet connection? Please check your installation folder: X:/Installation/Folder/Download/There should be 18 .rar files in it. Every file must be 524.288.000 bytes (or 512.000 KB in Windows Explorer). Except the last one, which must be 487.290.951 bytes (or 475.871 KB in WE). If there is any .rar file which does not meet the exact bytes, try deleting it and relaunch the setup. It will only download what is missing. It soulds like something went wrong during extraction.

First off, thank you. This is awesome. My installer downloads correctly, but when it is doing the actual install it goes very slow and eventually freezes up. A couple times it finished but there was clearly something missing. Is there anything I could do? Should I try manual install?
