I just found this place and I have to say, I thought a Darkfall Emu project would never get off the ground, but you guys have made some serious headway and I'm glad to have been proven wrong. I think Darkfall is one of, if not the best MMOs since Ultima Online and I was so disappointed by AVs handling of it back in the day. Especially after they turned off the old servers and launched Unholy wars. If this project yields solid results, and by every indication so far it has, then I'd be only too happy to contribute in some way. Either by donation or by offering my skills in whatever small measure I can. I'm a programmer for a small software company in Perth Western Australia and I'm familiar with Java, .Net, Oracle, SQLSever, various markup languages, and other miscellaneous tools. Is this an open source project, if so is there a repository the public can view?
Anywho, so glad this project exists. I know that my clique of gaming friends would forever be indebted to you if this leads to a living, breathing Agon again.
P.S. I was River/Summer Fey on NA-1. I was in a Clan called Bushrangers, who were eventually incorporated into the Dark Hand of Valor group of clans. We held AngFrost for a time.

Hey buddy. Yeah, this started as a speck and has grown quite popular since. We've been very transparent about the project. Who knew people appreciated honesty?!
The project isn't open source as of yet, the work is scattered around, but the guy in charge of rebuilding the server code has been approached by many interested in helping, so he's willing to fill you in here or via email. Alternatively, download the standalone and explore the files. Most of what we have is in there, excluding the world builder and advanced notes. There's a read me file to bring you up to speed though!
I'll PM you his email if you want to talk to him directly.

I starting downloading the standalone this morning. Looking forward to checking that out. I might spend a bit of time in the IRC channel getting to know people before talking directly to the server lead, just to get a feel for the community.

good to see more people noticing the emulator! Hopefully things will be up and running at full force one day, we can only hope!
