Personally, i'm willing to support this project with my money when the time will come, but now, there's more and more none believers(i'm not one of them), especially after the comment Ma$$ made about the emulator.
I'm pretty sure he doesn't know more than you guys, but still, he is the developer so what ever he say weighs heavy, even tho we all know that he lied about the fact there's 2000 subscribers for DF UW.
I think you guys need to spare a few words with the non believers on that.

John Mass:
f it's just my decision... no, absolutely not... for me, switching our focus to DFO is a huge step backwards, like just pressing delete on over 2 years of work, and being back with exactly the same issues we've been trying hard to find solutions to... and all the talk of "DFO with X DF:UW feature" is nothing more than a "pipe dream", anyone who says the code-bases are similar enough to do something like that easily, has not looked close enough... even bringing DFO back on-line (on a large enough scale to call "live") would take a lot of back-end development, to adapt it to the systems we have today, systems it was never designed to run with...
But (maybe luckily for you) it's not my decision, so I have no idea, at this point :/
"for me, switching our focus to DFO is a huge step backwards" DFUW is still far behind DFO Combat. Even after years of development.
"like just pressing delete on over 2 years of work" Thats how to deal with failures, eh?
"and being back with exactly the same issues we've been trying hard to find solutions" The fact, he still didn't realize DFUW is the issue makes me cry.
"and all the talk of "DFO with X DF:UW feature" is nothing more than a "pipe dream"" the dream will come true soon johnny
"even bringing DFO back on-line (on a large enough scale to call "live") would take a lot of back-end development, to adapt it to the systems we have today, systems it was never designed to run with..." with "a lot" he probably means a day or two
"But (maybe luckily for you) it's not my decision, so I have no idea, at this point :/ " The decision has already been made by the community (this community). Who cares about AV? They don't even listen when 1500 people offering money.

Any kind of 'official statement' would be worthless. I know what kind of guy mass is, and he enjoys the attention and likes to think he's always right. It's best just to get the emulator in a more presentable state and see the egg on his face.

Though I will say, his responses in the last couple of days have been better. I know his opinion on the matter (as do we all), but he's no longer trying to belittle anyone. His 'there's like 2000 subs' seems totally unrealistic, but I don't think he'd actively lie, his bullshit is limited to PR speak.
It could all be a façade however.

AV deserves what is comming , they failed twice not only their game but community itself. I must add more than twice. All Vets should stick together and refuse to pay(support) OTHER game. Cut the fucking life support that df vets are.
