There is only a certain amount of times . I can watch old dfo videos. And after each one I want to go and play it but after every video im remindedn its gone for good. Personally I dont believe AV has as much work ahead of them as they say they probably have most of it taken care of and the minute they get money from the kickstarter they can say "oh wow look what we did in a short amount of time" then they will get all this bullshit praise like wow you guys did so good. The bottom line here is AV let dfo die then they built this monstrosity called dfuw and that died now they want to bring back dfo? No they jjst what what ever will make them money. They failed at two games because of the same issues.. they will fail at dfo again given enough time.
With all that in mind I turn to this place to check daily on any news or updates that can spark my interest. I have played and play the stand alone from time to time but it does get tiring being the only person in a huge world.
I really wish this emu was closer to being released than it actually is. Idk how long I can stay hyped for dfo's return. And with no ETAs in sight here it just seems like a never ending road. I would happily donate to tye project but again thats not possible either right now. I guess its just wishfull thinking but could we see like a todo list on whats left and maybe a approximate time to when those todos can be completed?

Neither of those are good options cause one day means like in a year from now I just happen to stumble on these forums and find an eta while a lie to the face is well as it is, a lie to the face.

Ive played around on the stand alone a bit I'm not sure how to tell someone how to test, but basically, do what you think might break the game, and observe. In fact observe everything. I made THIS LIST with help of others and I feel it's too short! We need more contributions. Also, the more people that have knowledge of the standalone the better. There's still a lot we can learn about it, in game and in the xml files. So, in short, break the game and write it down. Find things that are different to 2012 DFO, version 1048. If you can fix things, even better! The majority of small fixes on the standalone will be accomplished via XML edits, the big ones should be fixed by having a live server. While the standalone is not a priority, because most work rests on KingHussien and his reverse engineering efforts, it'd be nice to have an acceptable standalone.
