People have contacted me with inquiries regarding the discussions of fundings on this board, and their concerns that this project is done for profit. I am not promoting this as a profitable project for anybody; I am simply trying to organize possible future donations to speed up the process/help out the ones creating the emulator. Hiring outside help off of freelancer, for example, will require some money to do, but ONLY if people want to. This is by far an issue for the future, but clearing things out in the beginning to create an understanding of what resources we have at hand doesn't hurt.
I state again. This is not a project with profit in focus.
Muchos love <3

IMO even thinking of funding/donations is way too early right now, and even so it would be a decision for the developers themselves (kinghussein/formalsd) to make.
I think you should delete the thread with the poll, as it is currently causing a lot of unwanted confusion and bad press about the incentives behind this project.

Funding will be a future prospect, right now all aims should be on spreading the word and for us to show our support to the guys who are working on it.

I believe people willing to donate money need to be given UNENDING debugging/testing rights. This would give an incentive to donate money and it would give us all the chance to actually talk to the person running this project. And yes no one likes a middle man. The donations would have to be given to the person doing the work.

The donations would have to be given to the person doing the work. Foma and Kinghussien are on these forums already (the guys currently coding). Donations are not a concern as of now, as we are still laying the foundation by completing the standalone version, but obviously it would be up to donators to pick how they would like to donate, and even then a middle man would be out of the question.

If you're willing to offer funds in these proportions you might as well just get straight in touch with AV for the game itself The 650k price tag is ridiculous. Half of that perhaps.

Regarding to the current situation with AV, i think they will run into insolvency. Even 650k wouldn't help them.
We should forget to get in contact with AV, since they will never respond to any of our messages or ever take anything serious out of this. DFO Emulator is a danger factor for the existence of DFUW, they will never ever sell the code.

I'm a trusted middleman if you need someone to do any transfers.
